Easy to use, good tour

Found a Patagonia hiking trip. Booking was quick and simple. Received all my documents on time. The tour was great, no problems. Would use again.

Reliable for Camino tours

This was my third time using 10Adventures, this time for a Camino de Santiago tour. I keep coming back because their self-guided options are consistently well-organized. The route notes and accommodation choices are always solid, and their prices are competitive. I appreciate that I know what to expect each time I book. They've been reliable for me.

Smooth booking, clear information

Booked a self-guided Tour du Mont Blanc. The website was easy to navigate and the booking process was straightforward. I received confirmation quickly, and the pre-trip information, including GPX files for the trails, arrived well before my departure. The quality of the route guides was high, with good detail on each day's hike. Support was responsive to an email question I had about baggage transfer. Everything went as expected, which is what you want for a trip like this.

Good deal on Dolomites tour

I was looking for a good value self-guided tour in the Dolomites. The price on 10Adventures felt right, especially with the early bird discount they had going on. I saved about $150 compared to what I saw elsewhere. It made the whole trip feel very worth it.

Mostly positive, one small issue

I booked a cycling tour in France through 10Adventures. The tour itself was fantastic, well-planned, and the accommodations were great. The value was definitely there for what we paid. My only small gripe was that it took a couple of days longer than expected to get a response from customer service about a specific gear rental question. It wasn't a huge deal since it was resolved, but a quicker reply would have been better. Overall, I'd still recommend them.

Anyone know if they do Black Friday sales? Or just seasonal stuff?

R Richard Flores 2 weeks ago
They definitely have Black Friday travel deals sometimes. Keep an eye on their site around November, I think they also send out emails if you're subscribed.

They do! And also early bird discounts for booking way in advance. Plus if you sign up for their newsletter you might get a special code sometimes.

Thinking about a self-guided tour. Do they give you like, actual GPS stuff or just a paper map you gotta figure out?

K Kyle Taylor 2 weeks ago
They give you GPS trail maps, yeah. It's usually part of the package so you're not just guessing. Made navigating so much easier.

Pretty sure it's digital maps you can load on your phone or device. Much better than trying to fold a giant paper map mid-hike, lol.

Are flights usually included in their tour prices? Or do you gotta book those separately?

A Ashley Parker 3 weeks ago
Flights are almost never included, you always book those separately. The tour price is just for the ground package.

D David F. 2 weeks ago
Nope, never. It's just for the tour part itself, like accommodation and activities. You gotta sort your own travel to and from the starting point.

Do they ever have actual promo codes? Or is it all just automatic discounts on the site?

S Sam Hall 1 month ago
Mostly automatic like early bird or group discounts. But I've gotten promo codes in their newsletter emails before, so it's worth signing up.

J James Carter 1 month ago
Rarely. It's usually built into the price or a discount that applies automatically. If there's a code, it'll probably be from an email to subscribers.

How tough are these hiking tours usually? I'm not super experienced but want a challenge.

S Sandra E. 3 weeks ago
They have different levels, you can usually filter by how difficult it is. I did a moderate one in Iceland and it was definitely doable but still pushed me a bit.

Depends on the tour. Some are pretty chill walking holidays, others are proper trekking. Always check the tour description, they usually rate the difficulty pretty well.
